2020 Western Washington University Industrial Design Graduate, born and raised outside Bellingham, WA.
Prior to attending WWU, I had a diverse educational and professional career that led me back to school for Industrial Design. I hold a Bachelor’s of Arts from University of San Francisco in International Studies with a focus in Environment and Development. I’ve worked with multiple international organizations that focus on community development efforts in the developing world. As a marketing and communications coordinator with the Foundation for Sustainable Development in San Francisco, I managed over 20 interns and collaborated with graphic design to redesign their website. After moving back to Washington state, I worked as a carpenter to develop woodworking and drafting skills. Simultaneously, I was making and selling ceramics, a skill passed down to me by my father, and freelanced as a graphic designer. All of these paths led me to Industrial Design, where I hope I will have the opportunity to create beautiful products that solve human problems.
